Having grown up on the farm now known as Morris Meadows I experienced the tranquility and beauty of my surroundings. I understood why my father, who was into his middle fifties when I was born, loved his farm , the animals and was not really interested in travelling as he felt he had it all at Morris Meadows. In my latter years operating my insurance business out of Calgary I wonder if others would also enjoy the tranquility and beauty I felt at Morris Meadow. We opened for business on September 14/96 with the wedding of my childhood best friend Ted Bennett, what a great way to open a business with so many old friends in attendance. Over the years since then we have had many events, weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, business meetings, graft parties, hunters and just visitors, who came to rest and relax and take in what our area of the world had to offer. In our Games Room we have a display board that has material that tells what there is to do in Our Parkland. Surprisingly to me we have had people come and stay with us from All Over The World, so ever so often, on our web site, we will have what our quests from different parts of the world had to say about Morris Meadows and our area of the world. All our guest have added something to our experience and several have become good friends and keep in touch with us. We have tried to work closely with other attractions in our area such as Alberta Prairie Steam Tours, The Lacombe Corn Maze, Donalda Lamp Museum, Ellis Bird Farm, and Reynolds Alberta Museum, to name a few.
